I’ve recently made these cinnamon rolls, (not this week since I’m in the middle of a calorie restrictive program 😉 ) I am however in possession of about a third of these, uncooked in my freezer. You can find the recipe for these puppies right here.
I loved the soft texture of these rolls right out of the oven before freezing, however it must be noted that after freezing, and even thawing there is a chewy texture that is less desirable. The taste is a lovely, light, melt in your mouth-just-as-a-cinnamon-roll-should-be delight. The frosting a breeze to make. I’ll try these again and see if I can find out if there is a remedy for it. I do love the convenience of having these like the Rhodes rolls, but
without the price.
