Bump on a Budget- Glider and Ottoman

cribSo many things have happened in the last few months I’ve been reeling from the fast pace of it all. We’ve had our first baby and he is the sweetest little boy- I am a bit biased!

I’ve been completing many little organization and DIY projects that I’ve had my heart on while I’ve been on maternity leave. Today I’d like to show you my favorite part of baby Solomon’s nursery.

One of my favorite pieces is the glider rocker and ottoman. I found the glider ($15) on an online yard sale, and the ottoman ($5) at a different yard sale this summer. My darling Mom helped me with the sewing of the cushions on the glider ($30- you could spend less but I really loved this patterned fabric). My sewing skills are very much lacking and the original cushions were in a terrible nineties sky blue pattern. My husband painted the wood with white spray paint ($2) The chair was an oak color and the ottoman was espresso.
